At Golden Ridge, safety is our main concern. Every day, riders lean more skills both on and off the horse in a friendly, safe facility.
NEW for 2008
We’re offering two options for riding this summer.
Our long-established Summer Program which is a jam packed, week long, “hands on” horse experience. Participants ride every day, learn horse care and safety and other “horsey” topics. GRS considers Summer Program an extension of our lesson program.
Another interesting option offered in 2008 is a flexible seven week lesson series with a “hands on” workshop involving safety, horse care and fun! Traditionally, our lesson students spend the first quarter of the lesson learning to groom and tack up. They ride approximately 30 minutes and spend the last quarter of the hour untacking and cooling the horse out.
